VIRGON CONSTRUCTION
Art Deco facade. Vertical lines, symmetry, geometric massing. Winter leaves are scattered across the entry steps. Walking in, the language changed completely. Rendered plaster curves where the exterior had been all straight lines, guiding you from the entry toward the kitchen. The stone restrained, not overdone like other projects. Articolo lighting above, catching the curves as you moved through.
What struck was the contrast. Outside, discipline. Inside, flow. The plaster walls become the guide, leading you deeper into the apartment. Built by Virgon Construction, interiors by MIM Design. A boutique building of four residences on a Pin Oak-lined street in Toorak, holding its period reference without trying too hard.
